The International Food Festival at DES was an absolute blast! Not only did we get to skip class and indulge in mouth-watering dishes, but we also had the opportunity to explore different cultures from around the world. The festival was a feast for the senses as we learned about each dish’s unique ingredients, cooking techniques, and nutritional value.
The festival truly celebrated diversity as it brought together students, teachers, and parents from various backgrounds, all sharing their love for food. Seeing how food can bring people together and create a sense of community spirit and support was terrific.
Trying new and exotic foods was a thrilling adventure for everyone as we savoured different flavours and spices. It was a great way to expand our culinary horizons and develop our taste buds. The festival was a fun and educational event, as we learned about the importance of a balanced diet and the nutritional value of different foods.
Overall, the International Food Festival was a fantastic way to celebrate our cultural differences and learn about different traditions and customs associated with various cuisines worldwide. It was an event that genuinely nourished our bodies and minds, and we can’t wait for the next one!
