The energy soared as they dived into team leadership games, with the catapult challenge stealing the spotlight. Through collaborative efforts, students launched sponges skyward, each round honing their teamwork skills.
As dusk descended, the true adventure awaited with the unique mountain challenge. This challenge involved navigating a series of checkpoints, each presenting a different task or puzzle to solve. Armed with maps and determination, students ventured into the wilderness, unlocking new skills and discoveries at each checkpoint. From the valleys of Athens to the peaks of the Alps, the day set the tone for a week brimming with fun, memorable experiences, and personal growth.
Day 2: Goal Setting & Optimise – Leysin Alps, Mountain Hiking, Rock Climbing & Pizza Game
Under the azure Swiss sky, day two dawned with promise and purpose. A goal-setting workshop, a cornerstone of our leadership development program, laid the day’s foundation. This workshop was designed to empower students to set intentions and break down aspirations into achievable steps, a crucial skill for personal and professional success. Venturing into the Leysin Alps, they immersed themselves in rock climbing and mountain hiking, delving into the vibrant ecosystem and learning about local flora and fauna.
The day they culminated in the Pizza Game, a unique activity designed to teach students about optimization and collaboration. In this game, students were tasked with crafting paper pizzas while minimizing waste. They transformed a simple game into a lesson in efficiency and collaboration through meticulous planning and teamwork, setting the stage for more thrilling adventures.
Day 3: Collaborate – Team Roles, Amazing Race & River Rafting
Day three dawned with hot chocolates and breathtaking views against the backdrop of the Swiss Alps. A workshop on team roles equipped students with insights into effective collaboration, fostering a culture of mutual respect and support. Energized by their newfound understanding, they embarked on an amazing race through the forest. This race was not just a physical challenge but also a mental one, with teams having to navigate twisty paths and overcome challenges with laughter and strategy. The ‘Amazing Race’ activity was designed to promote teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience, key skills for effective leadership.
The day reached its crescendo with a thrilling river rafting adventure, where students learned the art of paddling in sync amidst bubbly rapids. The Pyramid Challenge tested their communication and teamwork abilities, resulting in a towering monument that was a testament to their collective strength and determination.
Day 4: Challenge By Choice – Glacier 3000 & Gstaad
Amidst the chilly winds, students faced courageous choices and charming discoveries on day four.
