At DES, we don’t just teach values; we act! The most difficult times are when we must respond promptly and generously. Because our culture is judged by our attitude towards fellow human beings, friends, neighbours, and the distressed. Humanity is more united than divided because we are all equal when we face the unexpected. As human beings, we will stand by our fellow humans, the Turkish people that were hit by the earthquake. We ask for your support as we will collect long-life food, milk, pasta, rice, etc., as well as blankets and personal hygiene products to help the Hellenic Red Cross’s effort to send the necessary items to the people in need. The first delivery will take place on Friday, 17/2. Please send your items to the school by Thursday, 16/2, and we will send them to the Hellenic Red Cross assembly points. The delivery of the items will continue on other dates.
