Centripetal force is a force that keeps objects moving in a circular path. As long as the centripetal force continues and all other forces are balanced, the object will keep moving in a circle. A yo-yo is an excellent example of an object that moves in a circle due to centripetal force.
In this experiment, the spinning coin inside the balloon defies gravity for a few seconds, as centripetal force keeps the coin moving in a circle just like a satellite orbiting a planet.
