EU Code Week is a grass-roots movement that celebrates creativity, problem-solving and collaboration through programming and other tech activities. The idea is to make programming more visible, to show young adults and the elderly how you bring ideas to life with code, to demystify these skills and bring motivated people together to learn.
We believe anybody’s basic literacy in a digital age must include an understanding of coding and developing crucial competencies related to computational thinking, such as problem-solving, collaboration and analytical skills.
Learning how to code can empower students to be at the forefront of a digitally competent society, develop a better understanding of the world that surrounds them and get better chances to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
