What a fantastic week in Year 1! Our English and Greek teachers teamed up to explore the world of natural disasters with us.

In English, we dove into thrilling stories like “Birdie and the Flood” and “Birdie and the Wildfire.” Then, we let our creativity flow as we drew our favourite characters and scenes from the tales. To top it all off, we presented our picture books in our groups, marking our first presentation in English class. What a milestone!

In Greek class, we watched captivating videos and discussed natural disasters. And the best part? On Friday, we became mini-scientists and learned how lava creates volcanic eruptions through a hands-on experiment. What a blast!

Our week was full of adventure, learning, and fun. Who knew natural disasters could be so intriguing?
