“The mountain made me feel relaxed and peaceful” Ellie Year 3

“Hymettus Walk” by Spyros Υεαρ 5

We went to a mountain with firefighters, my parents and friends from Des and it was amazing! We also saw wild animals like horses and turtles. We learned about fires and how we can prevent fires. Also, we learned how important it is to keep our environment safe. It was an amazing feeling as we explored caves and other parts of the mountain. The views were awesome and everyone loved it. I hope that we can go there more often and make more memories with friends. Thank the EDNY and the school for bringing us to the Hymettus mountain walk.

“The Adventure of Hymettus” by Amalia Year 3

On the way to Mount Hymettus, we were stopped by a bunch of horses. So we approached them and had to gently push the horses off the road. Once we made it to the mountain, we took in the views as we waited for the others to arrive.

When everyone arrived we started our journey on the mountain, not knowing what we were going to encounter. So as we climbed up to the mountain after 5 minutes we saw a turtle that was very cute and gentle.

After we went and explored an amazing cave and saw a river inside the cave. It was so cool and worth going to the amazing mountain of Hymettus. Thank you so much, mr Spiro and his team and our school for organizing this. We learned so much about nature and fires.
