Nowruz, meaning “new day” in Persian, is far more than just the start of a new year -it is an ancient celebration of life, rebirth, and the triumph of light over darkness. 🌠 It lasts 13 days and is celebrated in many countries, especially in central Asia. 🌍 Our little GrSL adventurers delved into Persian culture and enjoyed learning about it! 👩🏻🤝👨🏼🎉
At DES, culture is about sharing and acceptance! The Iranian families of our school organized the celebration of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year. We sincerely thank them for this and wish them a heartfelt Happy Nowruz!
